The SSS-Classic program serves 160 low-income, first-generation college students regardless of their academic program. This program offers students comprehensive academic and support services and aims to improve student rates of persistence, completion, and transfer.

Am I Eligible?
To be eligible for this benefit program, you must be a current or prospective student pursuing a degree and you must be one of the following:
Limited income – See the chart to determine income eligibility
First-generation college student – Neither parent/guardian has earned a baccalaureate degree.
Documented Physical or Learning challenges – Regulations define an individual with disabilities as “a person who has a diagnosed physical, mental, or learning impairment that substantially limits that person’s ability to participate in the educational experiences and opportunities offered by the grantee institution.” Thus, for eligibility purposes, academic need considerations are primary.
