Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the instructors?

Dual Enrollment courses are taught by PCCC faculty or high school teachers who have the appropriate academic background. To ensure uniformity, all courses follow the same approved PCCC syllabus whether it is offered on a PCCC campus or at your high school.

Can I drop a dual enrollment course?

If you choose to participate, it is important to remember that you will be starting a college transcript and must follow all the rules and regulations of Passaic County Community College. If you complete the official dropping process before PCCC’s drop/add deadline, then you will not receive a grade. However, if you drop after PCCC’s
drop/add deadline, a grade of “W” (withdrawal) will be recorded on your permanent transcript. You will need to speak to your professor and Guidance Counselor in order to complete the official drop process.
