Solar Job Training: Next Class Starts in February
The next PCCC training class for jobs in the fast-growing solar industry begins in February with PCCC’s Continuing Education and Workforce Development department. There is still time to apply.
This short-term class is offered at no cost for qualifying applicants from Passaic, Bergen, Essex, and Morris Counties.
You may qualify if you are unemployed, underemployed, low income, or a veteran.
In this course, students can gain the skills and knowledge they need to obtain a good entry-level job with excellent growth potential in the booming solar energy field.
Success coaching, resume development, interviewing, test preparation, and more are included. Additional resources are available for qualified applicants to help with basic skills, childcare, and transportation.
Our course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the career pathways in the solar industry, photovoltaic systems, and safety procedures. Upon successfully completing the course, students will receive their solar certification.
Classes are taught by solar energy experts in PCCC’s all-new training facility for the trades located on the Main Campus in downtown Paterson.
