Juror

Melika Saeeda, Illustrator
Melika Saeeda is an illustrator, now living in Canada. She graduated from the Art
University of Tehran in 2008 and has been working on illustrations and mural projects ever since. Melika illustrated over a dozen picture books, including Little Rabbitte Series (Camlica Cocuck/ Turkey), The Bird (Kanoon-e- Parvareshi/ Iran), The Boy and 12 Month (Khorus Publication) and many more. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and is a recipient of the SCBWI Impact and Legacy Award (2022). Melika’s work has been exhibited internationally, including three times at the Toronto Art Fair, and she is a recipient of the Toronto Art Council Award (2018). PCCC is honored to welcome Melika as juror of our 2026 Juried Student Art Exhibition. Learn more at https://www.melikasaeeda.com/
