Black History Month Poetry Reading

PCCC Celebrates Black History Month with a virtual poetry reading on February 18 by Mahogany Browne, a New York-based writer, playwright, organizer, and educator. The author of recent works: Vinyl MoonWoke: A Young Poets Call to Justice, Woke Baby, and Black Girl Magic, Ms. Browne has been selected for the Kennedy Center’s Next 50 and was named Weseleyan’s 2022-23 Distinguished Writer-in-Residence.  She is also the Executive Director of JustMedia and Artistic Director of Urban Word.   This reading is sponsored by the Poetry Center at PCCC and is part of the Distinguished Poets Series.   The live reading begins at 2:30 pm on Zoom.
