- Class of 2023 had 7 valedictorians: a PCCC record!
- Valedictorian Nicolette Carpenter is heading to Harvard
- A backdrop of 38 flags represented the birth nations and diversity of the Class of 2023

A Heart for Nursing
Shadae Pinnock
- AAS Degree in Nursing
- Currently employed as an LPN; Plans to pursue the BSN and Master’s degrees
- Career Goal: Registered Nurse
- Recipient of the 2023 NJ League for Nursing Award
- Recipient of the PCCC Foundation’s Edward W. and Stella C. Van Houten Memorial Scholarship (Fall 2022)
The PCCC nursing professors care about their students and about the profession. I came out feeling that they had really invested in me.

Thanks to PCCC I will transfer to NJIT to pursue my goal of becoming a racecar designer.
