PCCC is excited to host two Commencement Ceremonies in May 2026 in the College Gym on PCCC’s Main Campus in Paterson.
All August 2025 and December 2025 graduates, and May 2026 graduation candidates are invited to participate.
The breakdown of which associate degrees and/or certificates will attend which ceremony date will be available soon.
Details regarding participation in the Commencement ceremony will be shared via email from the Office of Student Affairs. This includes information about picking up your cap and gown, and/or sash, and guest tickets for the ceremony.

What is the difference between Graduation and Commencement?
Graduation is the official confirmation in the College’s records that all degree requirements have been met, and the degree is conferred. To graduate from PCCC, you must submit a graduation application by the required deadline.
Commencement is the formal ceremony that celebrates your graduation. Participation in the Commencement ceremony does not guarantee graduation from PCCC.
