ABOUT PCCC
Constitution Day & Citizenship Day
Each September, Passaic County Community College holds campus-wide programs in observance of Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, officially designated on September 17.
Past programs at the College have included lectures, discussions, exhibits, and films on both historical and timely topics related to matters of democracy, citizenship, public affairs, and government.
Citizenship Day activities are sponsored by various campus groups and departments, including the Office of Student Activities, the Student Planning Committee, the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, the history department, and others.
Activities are widely and prominently advertised to the campus and general public on the homepage of the PCCC website, on campus event calendars, through social media and with posters, flyers, and other displays.
Passaic County Community College is one of the most diverse colleges in New Jersey and regularly offers English language classes as well as courses in preparation for United States citizenship.
