Want to earn a Bachelor’s Degree?
Our 3+1 program options allow students to take courses required in the third year of a Bachelor’s degree curriculum at PCCC. Upon successful completion of these third-year courses, students enroll in courses at the partner institution for their fourth (final) year of study.
Save Money
- Save money when you take third-year courses at PCCC tuition rates.
- Third-year courses required in the 3+1 option, including pre-requisites, are not eligible for the PCCC Alumni Waiver program.
Guaranteed Admission
- Upon successful completion of your third-year courses, you will receive guaranteed admission to the partner institution with full transfer credit for your fourth (final) year of your undergraduate studies.
- Academic eligibility must be maintained as per the agreement and academic policies of the partner institution.
Support Services
- Remain in the familiar PCCC environment with full access to PCCC support services.

Current 3+1 program options are available for PCCC graduates who earned associate’s degrees in:
Business Administration
Criminal Justice
3+1 program option applicants should complete the Inquiry Form. PCCC graduates, who have not already transferred to a 4-year institution, can apply now. Current students who are working towards their degree should apply after speaking with a program representative.
Yes, PCCC students can transfer at any time but would be considered a typical transfer student and not take their third-year courses at PCCC.
Once you complete your AA or AS degree and are accepted to the program, you can start taking classes for the bachelor’s degree on a PCCC campus. Some courses are existing PCCC courses and some are newly created courses developed specifically for these 3+1 program options.
Criminal Justice and Business Administration
PCCC offers state and federal financial aid to students accepted to a 3+1 program option and who qualify according to state and federal aid requirements. Prerequisites may not be covered by financial aid. The PCCC Alumni Waiver policy does not apply to those enrolled in 3+1 program options.
