New Students

New students are those that have never attended PCCC before.

The Enrollment Process

1. Download and complete your application. Applications can be mailed, faxed or submitted in person to the PCCC Admissions Office or the Main Office at the Wanaque Academic Center. We do not have online admissions at this time. If mailing please send to PCCC Admissions, One College Blvd., Paterson, NJ 07505 - 1179. Click here to download the application.

2. Determine how you will pay your tuition. PCCC offers a variety of payment options. If you plan to use Financial Aid to pay your tuition you must file your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) prior to registering for classes. You can apply online by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov. PCCC also offers a payment plan and scholarships programs. For more information on PCCC’s tuition and payment options go to www.pccc.edu/bursar.

3. Have an official copy of your HS transcript sent to the Admissions Office.

4. Immunization Requirement: NJ state law requires that all first-time, full-time students born after 1957 show a valid record of immunization that includes two doses of measles-containing vaccine and one dose of mumps and rubella.

5. Make an appointment for a Placement Test: Some students may be exempt from taking the placement test by providing SAT scores to the Admissions for review. New students cannot register without taking the placement exam. For more information on the placement test, click here.

6. Registration: New students are invited to register once all the previous steps have been completed. The Admissions Office will contact all students for New Student Orientation and Registration.
