The Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administered by CarePlus New Jersey, Inc., provides confidential mental health assessments and work-life informational assistance either directly or, where appropriate, through its subcontractors and affiliates. Areas in which the EAP may be of assistance include:

  • Anxiety, stress, and/or depression
  • Marital, family, or relationship issues
  • Work related difficulties
  • Social or interpersonal difficulties
  • Grief/Bereavement
  • Crisis intervention or exposure to traumatic incidents
  • Alcohol or substance abuse

 
CarePlus NJ will provide full and part-time employees and their immediate family members up to three (3) assessment/counseling visits or consultations annually, where requested.  CarePlus NJ will offer their services within two business days upon contact.  Calls to request this confidential service and speak to a Care Plus Representative can be made directly to (201) 986-5000 or via email at [email protected].  The records of employees and other persons served by CarePlus NJ will be treated as confidential, in compliance with State laws governing the confidentiality of patient’s medical records and Federal law where applicable.
